What data we access

TagPilot accesses the following data from your Shopify store:

• Product data: We read product titles and tags to generate smart tags. We do not store this data on our servers.
• Tag operations: We add tags to products when you choose to apply generated tags.
• Session data: We store a minimal session token to keep you logged in while using the app.

What data we store

We only store session tokens required for authentication. We do not store any product data, customer data, or order data. All tag generation happens in real-time and nothing is saved to our servers.

Third-party services

When you use the AI tagging feature, product titles are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate tag suggestions. No other product data is shared. Anthropic processes this data in accordance with their privacy policy and does not use it for model training. No data is shared with any other third party.

GDPR compliance

TagPilot fully supports Shopify mandatory GDPR webhooks:

• Customer data request: We do not store customer data, so there is nothing to report.
• Customer data erasure: We do not store customer data, so there is nothing to erase.
• Shop data erasure: When you uninstall the app, all session data is automatically deleted.

Data retention

Session data is retained only while the app is installed. Upon uninstallation, all data associated with your store is permanently deleted.
